An easy argument to make to offset the cost for The Sims 4 is how you only really spend a little more than $100 USD per year on the game. This is fair, considering the cost of a multiplayer game being double that. Another argument is that you can always just pick and choose what you want to have in your game.

- The egregious cost of owning and playing The Sims 4 is terrible, and I am honestly surprised this is not being discussed in more detail elsewhere. Sure, finding these prices out one-by-one can be done, but it is only thanks to the recent move to Steam, and the storefront's very clear policy on listing every cent add-ons will cost players.
- Use a VPN for America and the total price for everything is $500 as compared to $607. Also they always have sales so you can buy it for $320 in total. I created a table of the cost, including the new Seasons expansion pack. But if you buy the DLCs in bundles you can get it cheaper than $320.

I don't know how popular (or unpopular) this opinion is, but I think The Sims 4 could use more Occult Sims.
We have a total of four: Vampire, Spellcaster, Mermaid, and Alien. I mean, The Sims 3: Supernatural gave us Werewolves, Fairies, and Witches (oh my!) on top of the existing Vampires and Aliens that were running around. Genies and Zombies, too.
Now some of those life states, I could do without (I'm looking at you, Zombie!Sims that ate my plants). But the other supernatural creatures, I miss a lot.
Especially the Fairies.
So to cope with that, I decided to look into some excellent Sims 4 wings CC. If I can't have faeries, I can at least have their visuals!
Angel/Celestial Wings CC
1. Natalia-Auditore Auriel S4
Found In: | Face Accessories |
---|---|
Colors: | 17 Color Options |
If you're familiar with the Diablo franchise (from video game giant Blizzard) then you probably already know Auriel, Archangel of Hope and esteemed member of the Angiris Council.
If not, don't worry. You can still enjoy these pretty sweet angel wings from Natalia-Auditore.
Part of a full outfit + accessories set meant to let your Sim cosplay as the aforementioned fantasy character, these angel wings are undoubtedly different from the usual feathery affair.
Being able to change the color of the wings (and their base holder) makes this mod a lot more versatile and fun to play with. Is the sims 4 still free on origin. Huge thanks to the creator for not sticking with the default blinding white.
There are 17 color options in all; two of which are these cosmic galaxy-like patterns.
Some of the color swatches also naturally fade lighter towards the tips, creating a very subtle gradient.
2. ElaSims Angel Wings
Found In: | Body Accessories (Rings) |
---|---|
Colors: | 2 Color Options |
These are your pretty standard angel wings. They are huge, though.
I'm talking 'the tops of are cut off in CAS' huge.
But if your aim is to capture that whole 'larger than life' angel aesthetic, then this is pretty perfect.
It comes in two solid colors: black and white. Do note that the black doesn't look demonic or devilish, though. Maybe more 'fallen angel.'
If you want demonic/devilish/infernal wings, skip to the next category.
Either way, these are a quintessential wing design that I think look pretty good.

3. LunaNelfeah Celestial Fairy Wings
Found In: | Body Accessories |
---|---|
Colors: | 8 Color Options; 6 Solid Color Swatches, 2 Two-Toned Swatches |
Maybe the Ela wings were too big for you.
Maybe your Sim prefers something more compact – with some pretty fantastic border decorations to boot. If so, LunaNelfeah's Celestial Fairy Wings fit the bill.
They measure probably the length of your Sim's arm spread out, and they're only about the size of a Female Sim's torso (vertically speaking).
The texture is pretty great in that the feathers actually look like layered feathers. The border accessory is a nice touch, too. And it changes color depending on the color of the wings.
Very stylish, I'd say. And perfect for the modern contemporary celestial being.
Note: When you go to download the wings from the 'Celestial Fairy' pack, make sure you click on the download link for the 'bracelet' package, not the 'wings'. The links, for whatever reason, are switched. When you click on the download link for the 'bracelet' you should be led to a Sim File Share page with the NelfeahCelestialWings .package file.
4. S-Club LL TS4 Angel Wings 01 (Victoria's Secret)
Found In: | Face Accessories (Hats) |
---|---|
Colors: | 2 Color Options |
Buy Sims 4 Online
As far as 'angel-like' wings are concerned, this beautiful feathery mod from S-Club is my favorite.
I really enjoy the individual feather texture. It's not like LunaNelfeah's Celestial Fairy wings, which is basically tidy layers of feathers neatly lined up.
It's also not like ElaSims' Angel Wings, which is an intimidating masterpiece of large, imposing feathers.
This Victoria's Secret set (and I say set because there are basically four variations) does look like a pair of high-quality costume wings in the best way.
I especially adore the way the wings flip up at the very tips. So cute!
The wings come in two colors (black and white) and two sizes (small and large).
But the 'large' is definitely nowhere near Ela Angel Wings large.
Infernal/Batlike Wings CC
5. Natalia-Auditore Chernobog Wings: Open & Closed
Found In: | Face Accessories (Hats) |
---|---|
Colors: | Open: 16 colors | Closed: 23 colors |
Here's the infernal counterpart of the ElaSim's Angel Wings, and I mean that almost literally.
These bat wings are just as huge. The tops may not be cut off in CAS, but the ends sure are. Talk about your impressive wingspan.
Whereas Angel Wings seemed perfect for a larger-than-life warrior archangel, these Chernobog Wings (at least the Open version) are just straight up terrifying.
They look like they were made for intimidatingly swooping in.
The Closed version of the Chernobog Wings aren't as huge. But that's probably because they're folded up (hence the name).
They also have a couple more color options than the Closed variant (23 swatches, as opposed to Open's 16).
I will say that the wings look more 'Gargoyle' than 'Demon' when they're closed.
Other than that, the texture for both wings is pretty much the same. Simple but effective, with a nice sort of grunge-y feel.
6. LunaFeah Enular Wings
Found In: | Body Accessories (Rings) |
---|---|
Colors: | 8 Two-Toned Swatches |
Here's the sharper, pointier version of Natalia-Auditore's Chernobog.
I'd even go so far as to say that they look deadlier.
Seriously. Those wing tips could kill a Sim.
Like Chernobog, they also have a Closed and Open version. The Open version is pretty small.
I'd say it's within the same size range as S-Club's Victoria's Secret Angel Wings (give or take a couple Sim inches). The Closed version, on the other hand, well…
There's a contender. And an intimidating one at that.
The Closed Enular wings are straight up spiders. They curve around your Sim, practically caging them in computer-generated leather and whatever infernal vertebrae make up the rest of the wing.
It looks like my Sim is trapped within the branches and roots of some cursed forest. She seems pretty happy, though.
7. LunaNelfeah Stone Angel Wings
Found In: | Body Accessories (Rings) |
---|---|
Colors: | 6 Solid Color Swatches |
No, I did not put this item here by mistake. Even though the title clearly says 'Angel Wings.'
See, the creator meant for these wings to look like they were made of stone. And she did a great job. They do look very solid, very rough, and very carved. Even the curved edges look like they were just chiseled and smoothened out.
And when I tried them out on my Sims, I immediately thought of angel statues and gargoyles in some abandoned cemetery or chapel. Where to get minecraft bedrock edition.
Very 'teenager going through their angst phase,' I know. But that's what popped into my head.
So I'm putting it here. Wings for the artificially divine. Minecraft mcpe update.
All kidding aside; the wings do look great.
Faerie/Ethereal Wings CC
8. Esmeralda Glass Wings – All Ages
Found In: | Face Accessories (Glasses) |
---|---|
Colors: | 18 Color Options; 9 Solid Swatches, 9 Patterned Swatches |
This is hands-down the most diverse and wing set on the entire list – in terms of colors, anyway.
But the shape is pretty darn great, too!
These Glass Wings by Esmeralda can look like either tiny butterfly wings or delicate faerie flappers, depending on the design you pick.
They're small, too.
Much smaller than the Angel/Celestial wings and the Infernal/Batlike wings. But that's totally part of their charm.
Their size makes them look almost natural (or as natural as winged Sims are) in-game. The color swatches also add to the effect. Plus they're all smooth, mildly opaque, and look incredibly fragile.
Exactly how one would imagine faerie wings to be.
According to the creator, there are three different styles: Monarch Butterfly, Solid w/ Border, and Solid w/o Border.
There are about six variations for the Monarch Butterfly pattern and two variations for the Solid w/ Border. Solid w/o Border rules the swatch pool with nine unique variations.
There's also a wild Solid w/o Border wing that has an Art-Deco style pattern. Doesn't really fit any of the styles, but it looks pretty fun.
9. S-Club LL TS4 Fairy Wings 01
Found In: | Face Accessories (Hats) |
---|---|
Colors: | 5 Color Options |
If the plethora of faerie wings isn't enough to tell you that we TS3 Simmers miss Fairy Sims, I don't know what will.
Still don't know why EA took out such a wonderful Occult class… but hey, at least we have Sims 4 CC, right?
Back to this utterly gorgeous glass/crystal wings from S-Club.
They are every bit as glass-like as the Esmeralda wings. Maybe even a little more.
They're less 'mildly opaque' and more 'practically translucent.' If it wasn't for the borders, veins, and wing patterns, you probably wouldn't even be able to see them.
Especially the default white variant.
At the risk of sounding pathetically poetic, these wings look like they're made of paper and spun glass. That's how delicate they look.
I'd definitely recommend this mod for making winter faeries or something.
10. S-Club LL TS4 Wings 202001 (Fairy Forest)
Found In: | Face Accessories (Hats) |
---|---|
Colors: | 3 Color Options |
If you hear squealing, that's just me. Unable to contain my excitement over these wings.
Dare I say that these wings are my absolute favorite out of all the ones here?
Yes, I dare. Because it's true.
These wings – and I don't say this lightly – are freaking gorgeous.
Pictures are worth a thousand words so I'll (mostly) let the images do the talking, but seriously. Look how transparent and soft and delicate they are! I promise you that they are even more ethereal in-game.
There are only three color options, but I love them all.
The white is pale and gentle; more like the suggestion of a wing rather than an actual wing.
The black is bewitching in the sense that it just seamlessly transitions from softly translucent to barely opaque as it moves outward. I'm also digging the subtle sparkles in the center.
But the love of my life has to be the blue one.
It's a pale, translucent blue edged with a darker shade so it looks like there's some sort of vignette. And it is every bit as fragile, delicate, and stunning as the other two.
I'm going to stop gushing here. Just get this mod.
Nature Wings/Other
11. Ersch – Windy Set for TS4
Found In: | Body Accessories (Socks) |
---|---|
Colors: | 3 Color Options |
Speaking of delicate, how cool are these wings?
They're literal branches branching (sorry) out from your Sims back!
I can appreciate a good creative concept – especially when it's executed well – and I think these Windy wings from Ersch are a total winner.
They definitely don't look like they could ever be aerodynamically functional, but hey. The aesthetic is everything.
There are three color variations, and I can definitely see what the creator was going for here.
The leaves can be either white, green, and orange. Basically winter, spring, and fall.
The set comes with a leafy headband too, if you're looking for some fun head accessories for your Sim.
12. Natalia-Auditore Kai'Sa Accs
Found In: | Face Accessories (Hats) |
---|---|
Colors: | 12 Color Options; 6 Solid Swatches, 6 Two-Toned Swatches |
If you've heard the absolute bop that is Popstars by Blizzard's own League of Legends K-pop group, KDA, then you're probably familiar with this version of Kai'Sa (a playable legend from said league).
Even if you're not, I'm certain you can still appreciate these wing-like things for their visuals alone. They very much look like enchanted, floating crystals – something the fantasy nerd in me can appreciate.
I also love that the creator included twelve color options. Then your Sims don't necessarily have to look like they're cosplaying.
The creator notes can be a bit confusing, so read through this if you're a little lost.
The Kai'Sa Wings are the 'Shoulder Accessory' being referred to, and they can be found in Face Accessories – Hats. You'll see three downloadable files. The one you want is the NA_KaisaAcc_S .package file.
13. NewSea SteamPunkMetalWings
Found In: | Face Accessories |
---|---|
Colors: | 4 Color Options |
Now for some good old fashioned Steampunk. Because there isn't a soul out there that isn't secretly attracted to the Steampunk aesthetic. (Maybe).
These free wings from NewSea are one of the most well-designed wings in this category – nay, this entire list.
The attention to detail is astounding. From the individual metal pieces that make up the veins and feathers to the quasi-clockwork-type details at the base.
Completing the look are several delicately dangling chains.
Functional? Nope.
Fashionable? A thousand times yes.
NewSea is known for their gorgeous creations, but a lot of that CC is usually paid.
The fact these NewSea wings are free just makes them a thousand times better in my book.
